Pound For Pound Challenge

I posted this on my weight loss blog, but decided to post it here as well, since I have more followers (!) and probably more people click on this one more often.

I decided to pledge my future weight loss to the PFP challenge. By doing so, food will get to food banks to help feed the hungry. As I am sure you know, hungry and obesity go hand in hand. Hopefully my little plegde will help every just one person get healthy food and some education about eating healthy.

If anyone reading this is trying to lose weight as well, I implore you to pledge your weight as well.

Back in the game

I had my six week visit on Tuesday and was cleared for all activity! Woot! D was a very happy man. The first time, not so great. It was uncomfortable and felt really wierd. Last night, a totally different story! All I will say is that the KY Yours and Mine is a godsend.

I am back on the pill, which I wasn't thrilled with, but the idea of using condoms indefinitely is not my idea of fun. It makes me nervous to come off of it again. Last time, I ended up with 3 sacs. No one in my family has multiples, so I can only assume that my body was recacting to being off BCP and put out 3 eggs. I would welcome any babies, but financially it would be really tough. I think I just need to stop over-thinking things and just enjoy what I have now.

In other news, I finally figured out the sling. I'm going to take it out on a test run to the daycare center. It's only about 3 blocks from the house, which will make it easy to come back if Squirmy is not amused with the whole situation. We found daycare with an infant opening for $800 a month, which is $400 a month cheaper than we thought we were going to pay. I was really excited. The place is clean and the people are nice. There are no other infants as of right now and he will take the last spot in the baby room, which means there won't be any in the near future.
